Emily Silverman, J.D. (Berkeley Law), LL.M.
Referatsleiterin
Emily Silverman leitet die Referate USA und Kanada, Israel und Übersetzungen (Deutsch-Englisch). Seit November 2011 ist sie an der Leitung des Projekts Internationales Max-Planck-Informationssystem für Strafrechtsvergleichung beteiligt. Sie ist seit Dezember 2008 stellvertretende Gleichstellungsbeauftragte des Instituts. Das Jurastudium hat sie an der Boalt Hall School of Law (University of California, Berkeley) abgeschlossen. Das LL.M.-Studium an der Universität Freiburg wurde von Stipendien des Deutschen Akademischen Austausch Dienstes und der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft unterstützt. Emily Silverman hat zahlreiche Aufsätze zu strafrechtlichen Themen verfaßt und übersetzt.
