Main Research:

In her dissertation, Xenia Lang focuses on the use of intelligence information in criminal proceedings. The project incorporates the German and American criminal law perspectives and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Ulrich Sieber.

Academic Background:

Xenia Lang was born in Ludwigshafen am Rhein (Germany). From 2004-2009, she studied law at the University of Heidelberg, where she majored in criminal science. In 2006, she spent a semester abroad at the University of Lund (Sweden).

During her studies, she worked for Prof. Dr. G. Dannecker as a student assistant at the Institute for German, European and International Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (2007-2008) as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (2007). She passed the first state examination in 2009.

Since February 2010, Xenia Lang has been a doctoral student at the International Max Planck Research School for Comparative Criminal Law.
