Nandor Knust is an expert on international and transitional justice with a strong focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. He has served as expert for several international organizations on topics of international/transitional justice, regional security systems, organized crime, and pluralistic models of transnational crime control. Nandor Knust is Co-Academic Coordinator of the International Max Planck Research School for Comparative Criminal Law and he holds the position of Lecturer “International Criminal Law” at the School of Governance, Law and Society at Tallinn University, Estonia. In 2013, the Max Planck Society presented him with the Otto Hahn Medal for outstanding scientific achievements.
