The 7th In­ter­na­tion­al Con­fer­ence on Evid­ence Law and Forensic Sci­ence (ICELFS) has been suc­cess­fully held in Freiburg, Ger­many from Ju­ly 31st to Au­gust 2rd. The meet­ing of the In­ter­na­tion­al As­so­ci­ation of Evid­ence Sci­ence (IAES), that takes place every two years, was pre­pared with sup­port from the Max Planck In­sti­tute for For­eign and In­ter­na­tion­al Crim­in­al Law (MPICC) and the China Uni­versity of Polit­ic­al Sci­ence and Law (CUPL). Dur­ing the three-day con­fer­ence, con­struct­ive and fruit­ful ex­changes were made over vari­ous top­ics of Evid­ence Law and Forensic Sci­ence among 83 at­tendees from 19 coun­tries, in­clud­ing Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Hans-Jörg Al­brecht, Prof. Ron­ald J. Al­len, Prof. Ed­ward Im­winkel­ried, Prof. Dr. Jan Lieder, LL.M. (Har­vard), Prof. Dr. Wal­ter Per­ron, Prof. Dr. Ralf Poscher, Prof. Paul Roberts, Prof. Dr. Liling Yue and Prof. Dr. Baosheng Zhang.
