International workshop 'Effectiveness and proportionality' (photo: Baschi Bender)

The In­ter­na­tio­nal Work­shop on ‘Ef­fect­ive­ness and Pro­por­tion­al­ity – Mod­ern Chal­lenges in Se­cur­ity Law and Crim­in­al Justice’ was suc­cess­ful­ly held in Frei­burg/Ger­ma­ny on 17 and 18 Oc­to­ber 2019. The work­shop was co-or­gan­ized by the Max Planck In­sti­tute for For­eign and In­ter­na­tion­al Crim­in­al Law (Otto Hahn Re­search Pro­gramme) and the Uni­versity of Ber­gen (Fac­ulty of Law).
