Project description:

The WiSKoS project aims to systematically analyze the threat level attached to economic espionage, the state-side provided control structures and the company-side implemented recognition and prevention strategies in Germany and Europe. The project focuses on a currently under-researched branch of criminology – where the normative, phenomenological and practical areas are concerned. The project is necessary to assess the challenges facing the intra-corporate and external (state-based) control and to develop optimized solutions. To this end, the project not only includes an extensive comparative country-screening but also a differentiated multi-level analysis and an analysis of circumstances and manifestations of individual offences.
